School Flags
Our school works hard to achieve various school flags - please see below.

Active School Flag
We have loved taking part in various activities both indoors and outdoors over last year, especially those organised during Active School's Week. As an active school we see how these activities can enhance our ability to learn while improving our overall health and wellbeing.

Green School Flag
In 2023-2024 our Green School committee had a duel role: GS & pupil voice. Our projects included adding 15 solar panels to our school roof, picker-pals litter management on our school grounds and around our locality and collecting/sending shoes to South Africa.

Amber Flag
Amber Flag which is awarded by Pieta House to schools for promoting positive mental health. The whole school community came together to create a safe, positive and healthy attitude towards our general physical and mental health and well-being.

Amber Flag notice board to showcase collaborative art projects
Wellbeing Week, Lámh word of the week, using parts of the Wellbeing Diary across all classes, holistic activities undertaken through the SPHE and PE strands of the curriculum: Movement breaks, Team building activities, Feel good Friday discos!
