Pancake Tuesday
The children enjoyed some delicious pancakes for Pancake Tuesday. A big THANK YOU to Deirdre, Aoibheann and the parents association for making this happen. The children were spoilt for choice with various toppings on offer. They were yummy, thumbs up all around!!!

Wool Weaving Workshop

Credit Union Quiz 🏆

Confirmation Retreat in Ballintubber Abbey
Our 5th and 6th class pupils thoroughly enjoyed their recent Confirmation retreat day. They got to learn about the history of the Church while also learning about local folklore connected to the area. Literacy Lift Off
First and Second Class pupils worked really hard and had lots of fun learning experiences during their six weeks of Literacy Lift Off in Term 1. Fire Safety Talk
Members of the Ballinrobe Fire Brigade recently delivered a Fire Safety Talk to 3rd to 6th class pupils in our school. This was a very informative session with firemen Mervyn and Dylan covering topics including fire safety in our homes and helping children to plan their own home escape plan. Each pupil received a Fire Safety booklet designed by the Irish Fire Services and the NDFEM. Pupils were encouraged to go home and talk to their families about the importance of regularly

Hometree Workshop
The children from 1st and 2nd class were delighted to welcome visitors from Hometree, who spent the morning teaching our pupils about the importance of native trees in protecting and preserving our local ecosystem. The children learned how native species support biodiversity, provide vital habitats for wildlife, and help maintain a healthy environment for future generations. After an engaging workshop, the pupils had the exciting opportunity to put their learning into action.
