Fire Safety Talk

Members of the Ballinrobe Fire Brigade recently delivered a Fire Safety Talk to 3rd to 6th class pupils in our school. This was a very informative session with firemen Mervyn and Dylan covering topics including fire safety in our homes and helping children to plan their own home escape plan. Each pupil received a Fire Safety booklet designed by the Irish Fire Services and the NDFEM. Pupils were encouraged to go home and talk to their families about the importance of regularly checking smoke alarms and having a carbon monoxide detector and fire blankets at home.
