Huge congratulations to our junior and senior quiz teams who both came 3 rd  in their categories last Saturday at the Credit Union Schools Quiz 2026 which took place in the McWilliam Hotel, Claremorris. Both teams did an amazing job and we are all so proud of them!

Our 5th and 6th class pupils thoroughly enjoyed their recent Confirmation retreat day. They got to learn about the history of the Church while also learning about local folklore connected to the area. The children were given a guided tour of the abbey grounds aswell, which they found very interesting. Members of the Ballinrobe Fire Brigade recently delivered a Fire Safety Talk to 3rd to 6th class pupils in our school. This was a very informative session with firemen Mervyn and Dylan covering topics including fire safety in our homes and helping children to plan their own home escape plan. Each pupil received a Fire Safety booklet designed by the Irish Fire Services and the NDFEM. Pupils were encouraged to go home and talk to their families about the importance of regularly
