A Special Pumpkin Visit!🎃

Our students were delighted to welcome local horticulturist, John Harrington, who shared the journey of growing food from seed to harvest. The highlight of the visit was a home-grown pumpkin, sparking curiosity about plants and the wonders of nature. Children from junior infants to second class were amazed at the size of the locally grown pumpkin and had lots of interesting questions for our visitor. We are excited to carve the pumpkin in the coming weeks as we approach spooky season!
