Scratch Jr Coding in First and Second Class

Children from first and second class were busy developing their STEM and creativity skills using ScratchJr. ScratchJr is a child-friendly coding programme that introduces the basics of computer programming in a fun and engaging way. Through creating their own stories, games, and animations, pupils learn how to give clear instructions, sequence actions, and debug problems when things don’t work as planned.

Learning to code helps promote logical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and perseverance. Coding also supports skills such as collaboration and digital literacy which are essential in today’s technology-rich world!
